Patient Autonomy & Sovereignty

You own your health memory. You set the rules.

Cura is built for patient control. Decide who logs on your behalf, purge voice audio automatically, inspect your active care team, and export your complete record whenever you choose.

Sovereignty Principles

Four Inviolable Patient Rights

Automatic Audio Waveform Purge

Your voice is personal. Once you confirm the text transcript, raw audio waveforms are permanently deleted from cloud storage.

Carer Proxy Delegation & Instant Revocation

Authorize family members to log observations on your behalf. Revoke proxy access at any moment with a single tap.

Care Team Access Roster

Inspect every clinician with active access to your chart, including coverage expiration dates for locum physicians.

Zero-Lockin Complete Export

Download your entire longitudinal history in structured JSON format anytime. Your health memory belongs to you.

Transparent Data Journey

The Lifecycle of a Patient Note

From spoken observation to doctor brief, here is how your data travels safely through Cura.

STEP 01

Voice / Text Capture

Logged in seconds at home by the patient or authorized carer proxy.

STEP 02

Patient Transcript Gate

You review the transcribed text before anything is submitted to the system.

STEP 03

Audio Auto-Purged

Raw audio waveform is permanently deleted from cloud object storage.

STEP 04

Grounded Pre-Visit Brief

Synthesized into a 30-second verified brief for your physician’s review.

Patient Data Controls FAQ

What happens when I enable voice audio disposal?

Once you review and confirm your voice note transcript, the underlying raw audio file is permanently purged from encrypted object storage. Only the patient-approved text transcript and grounded entities remain.

Can a carer access my past records after I revoke their proxy access?

No. Revocation takes effect immediately at the database kernel level. Once revoked, the carer proxy account can no longer query your timeline or submit new entries on your behalf.

How does account deletion interact with clinical record retention laws?

When you request account deletion, patient identification and login credentials are fully purged. If clinical summaries have already been integrated into statutory medical records by your care team, those records are retained strictly as required by applicable healthcare legislation (such as Dutch WGBO or European statutory retention schedules).
