Responsible Information Organization

Cura is built around a simple clinical truth: the best medical decisions are made when clinicians have a complete, accurate history. We do not attempt to replace the doctor. Our software does not claim to autonomously diagnose diseases, predict clinical outcomes, or prevent hospital admissions on its own.

Instead, we focus on safe information organization. We track patient- and carer-reported logs, aggregate daily medication adherence, and flag qualitative trends for the clinician’s attention. By linking every clinical summary item back to its original source record, we preserve medical provenance and keep the doctor firmly in the loop.

Technical Governance & PHI Security

Data protection is clinical safety. Cura enforces strict regulatory safeguards directly within its software architecture to protect Protected Health Information (PHI):

  • Tenant Isolation: Cryptographic multi-tenant isolation is strictly enforced across all clinical records, guaranteeing that data is never visible across care organizations.
  • Immutable Auditing: All PHI decryptions and model runs are written to append-only audit ledgers, preventing unauthorized modification of the data log.
  • Encryption at Rest & In Transit: Health logs are secured using AES-256 field-level encryption, and medication names are stored as blind indexes using salted HMAC-SHA256.
